Spectators: 6862 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1862, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dermot Murphy got the match started through his kick off. Teris MaCollin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Begley Dempsey in the 3rd minute of the match. After 3 minutes, Theobald Delaney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pallaskenry and the Cloonlavis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Pallaskenry got a freekick which was hit by Theobald Delaney. In the 6th minute, Begley Dempsey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dermot Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bragan Rogers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dermot Murphy's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Cloonlavis's Breaghdha McWilliam got a free kick in the 16th minute. Bragan Rogers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baolach McVictor, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Dermot Murphy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cloonlavis's Bragan Rogers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cloonlavis's goalkeeper Bragan Rogers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Cloonlavis's goal looked a bit too open when Dermot Murphy came free, but Bragan Rogers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cloonlavis's Aengus Hamilton suffered a sore thigh after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Theobald Delaney was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Pallaskenry getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Theobald Delaney hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Pallaskenry's goalkeeper Teris MaCollin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raonall McPhil. Gerard McLiam hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Cloonlavis's Lewis Glen Crowe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pallaskenry. In the 44th minute Baolach McVictor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bragan Rogers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerard McLiam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bragan Rogers having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raonall McPhil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baolach McVictor was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Beacan McTommy struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Bragan Rogers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pallaskenry. Pallaskenry's Baolach McVictor came free and shot a quick shot against goal 68 minutes in the game, fortunately Bragan Rogers had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Baolach McVictor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Gerard McLiam notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cloonlavis's Bragan Rogers. Bragan Rogers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baolach McVictor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bragan Rogers having to interfere. In the 86th minute, one of Cloonlavis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cloonlavis. When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, Pallaskenry's Brannagh Rogers got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bragan Rogers. In the 90th minute, Baolach McVictor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 played minutes Cloonlavis got a freekick which was hit by Cáirbre Delaney. A hard shot by Brannagh Rogers from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Bragan Rogers's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Baolach McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cloonlavis fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pallaskenry were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
