Boynton Dunne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flann Beckett having to make a save. Troy McLiam charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Troy McLiam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Pinapple Express's zone, John Duggan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flann Beckett came out of the goal and John Duggan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Binean Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Binean Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter DC's supporters rose to their feet, but Binean Walker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flann Beckett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Pinapple Express defense, Boynton Dunne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flann Beckett. The Pinapple Express fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flann Beckett should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Binean Walker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Flann Beckett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute Bel McFrancise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred McLaughlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flann Beckett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Binean Walker in the 26th minute of play. Boynton Dunne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Flann Beckett made a huge save. Binean Walker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flann Beckett having to make a save. In the 31st minute, Pinapple Express's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Boynton Dunne fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Troy McLiam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flann Beckett was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. John Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boynton Dunne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flann Beckett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Inter DC's Flann Beckett threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Binean Walker, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Inter DC were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Pinapple Express's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bowen McAlphie took the corner. John Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flann Beckett having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Berke McLaughlin made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blathmacc McWilliam during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Blathmacc McWilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match, Lou Rogers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfred McLaughlin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Inter DC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Troy McLiam hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Binean Walker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Barran Lavine threw the ball into play from the sideline. Inter DC's Troy McLiam quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinapple Express's goalkeeper Flann Beckett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Inter DC's Bel McWill got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bel McWill was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inter DC! 83 minutes into the match, Gaynor John notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Inter DC's Alfred McLaughlin. Alfred McLaughlin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Inter DC booed when Pinapple Express was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beachain Dalton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flann Beckett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Binean Walker went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. John Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flann Beckett having to interfere.
