The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiarnan McVictor during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Killare booed when FC Rosports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiarnan McVictor didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piers Gough in the 6th minute of play forced FC Rosports's goalkeeper Artt Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Rosports's Artt Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bearchan Doyle in the 8th minute of play. Artt Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bearchan Doyle in the 12th minute of play. Piers Gough kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Artt Ryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bras Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Britain McNamee in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artt Ryan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artt Ryan came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Killare's Boyd Barrett. But to his dismay, Boyd Barrett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to FC Rosports getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tiarnan McVictor hit a great ball. Artt Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brannon Crowe in the 42nd minute of play. FC Rosports's Artt Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bearchan Doyle in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, FC Rosports's goal looked a bit too open when Bras Ramsey came free, but Artt Ryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Briony McDecland to make the kick off. The tension between the FC Rosports and the Killare players grew even worse after the yellow card. Briony McDecland hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Artt Ryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Britain McNamee in the 79th minute of the match. Killare played a much better game than FC Rosports and deserved their victory. The FC Rosports players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
