Maradona's Brak McJohnny got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brak McJohnny in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petran McBrandon saved Maurs from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Maurs's Brayden McWill got a free kick in the 12th minute. Lorcan McTom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradner Scully having to interfere. When Booak Benson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maradona's protests and gave Booak Benson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Maradona getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Booak Benson hit a great ball. Petran McBrandon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brak McJohnny, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 27th minute, Jonathan Costello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Berrach Hamilton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maurs's supporters rose to their feet, but Berrach Hamilton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradner Scully breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donn McPhilip scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petran McBrandon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Lorcan McTom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maurs's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorcan McTom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradner Scully breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Biviti Molloy in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Maradona's Booak Benson. A collision led to Maurs getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Braydon MaCollin hit a great ball. After the first half Maradona were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brak McJohnny to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Brak McJohnny ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petran McBrandon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bradner Scully showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berrach Hamilton, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Júlio Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Thom McLaughlin might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petran McBrandon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thom McLaughlin ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brak McJohnny in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petran McBrandon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Donn McPhilip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Maradona had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
