Spectators: 7969 (Terracing: 5978, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) After a rather tough play, GKS Tychy Patriots's Pierce Tierney got a free kick in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, GKS Tychy Patriots's goal looked a bit too open when Keely Hamilton came free, but Bressail Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Keely Hamilton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bressail Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bressail Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Briony McDecland, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Bressail Byrne came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Rosports's Briony McDecland. But to his dismay, Briony McDecland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Boyd McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Pearse Willson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Artt Ryan, 1-2. Braeden Silke hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pearse Willson made a kick off. In the 53rd play minute Keely Hamilton came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bressail Byrne. 1-3. Keely Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bressail Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Briony McDecland, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Briony McDecland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bressail Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Briony McDecland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, GKS Tychy Patriots was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyd McTommy to maneuver through the defense. Briony McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Boyd McTommy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes FC Rosports got a freekick which was hit by Tiarnan McVictor. Artt Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin McOliver in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match Gavin Caffrey sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bressail Byrne skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to GKS Tychy Patriots getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Boyd McTommy hit a great ball. A collision led to FC Rosports getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Briony McDecland hit a great ball. Briony McDecland stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of GKS Tychy Patriots's defenders and the ball went out. FC Rosports appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. In the 82nd minute of the match, Briony McDecland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bressail Byrne saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin McOliver in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Rosports's goalkeeper Artt Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Robin McOliver came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the GKS Tychy Patriots fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin McOliver couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Pearse Willson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artt Ryan was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Artt Ryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pearse Willson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Rosports eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
