Spectators: 7990 (Terracing: 5994, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Booak Hunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irving McGlynn, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Dublin BG Tigers's Tierney Hunt got a free kick in the 41st minute. Beolagh McFrank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Brann Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan Gough during the 49th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beolagh McFrank stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brann Ferguson was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Beolagh McFrank capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 89thth minute of the game Peter McIan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dublin BG Tigers's Booak Hunt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Rowan Lester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92ndth minute of the game Beolagh McFrank who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fethard's Brann Ferguson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Brain Molloy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fethard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dublin BG Tigers the free kick. 97 minutes into the match, Fethard's goal looked a bit too open when Beolagh McFrank came free, but Brann Ferguson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite being the better team, Dublin BG Tigers failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
