Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Barnaby McLiam got the match started through his kick off. After 8 played minutes Croithli AFC got a freekick which was hit by Shamus McOliver. After having played for 11 minutes, Braon McCollion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Croithli AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braon McCollion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th match minute, Croithli AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boylan McMichel to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes Croithli AFC got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Doyle. Banan Doherty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bree McLian, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bree McLian in the 31st minute of play forced Barnacahoge FC's goalkeeper Banan Doherty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barnacahoge FC's Aban Matthews managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Shamus McOliver in the 34 minute of the game. A collision led to Barnacahoge FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Barnaby McLiam hit a great ball. When Brin McJohn fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barnacahoge FC's protests and gave Brin McJohn a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Barnacahoge FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brin McJohn to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Brin McJohn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barnacahoge FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brin McJohn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Irving Rogers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braon McCollion to strike the kick off in the second half. Braon McCollions short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Banan Doherty to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Irving Rogers came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Barnacahoge FC's Barnaby McLiam. But to his dismay, Barnaby McLiam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Banan Doherty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bree McLian in the 73rd minute of play. Bealtaine McJohn charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bealtaine McJohn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bealtaine McJohn kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 83 minutes, Bree McLian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Croithli AFC and the Barnacahoge FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Irving Rogers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brin McJohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
