Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Felim McLian took the kick off in the first half of the match. Beacan Savic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felim McLian in the 3rd minute of play. After 3 minutes, Felim McLian made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Batterstown's Beacan Savic tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Doohat's Alan McBrand in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Batterstown's goalie prevented a goal. 8 minutes into the game, Doohat's Nolen Molloy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beacan Savic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Banan Gough stood somewhat misplaced when Britt Myler came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 12 minute. With a little luck, Doohat's Banan Gough got control of the ball when Britt Myler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Banan Gough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Britt Myler, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 17th minute, Oliver Callaghan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Britt Myler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Banan Gough. That made the score 2-2 in the 18 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Batterstown's zone, Felim McLian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beacan Savic came out of the goal and Felim McLian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 27th play minutes Britt Myler shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Banan Gough and just under the crossbar into goal. After 35 minutes, Hayes McTom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Batterstown and the Doohat players grew even worse after the yellow card. 41 minutes into the match, Batterstown's goal looked a bit too open when Felim McLian came free, but Beacan Savic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beacan Savic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felim McLian in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Britt Myler to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Doohat's Alan McBrand got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Nolen Molloy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rollan Branson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teigue McPhilip kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Hayes McTom kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Doohat's Banan Gough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Britt Myler in the 81st minute of play.
