Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5900, Seating: 1550, VIP seats: 50) Beollan Lavine started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Peafield's Pearse Silke got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Kevion Tierney fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peafield's protests and gave Kevion Tierney a yellow card for diving instead. Kevion Tierney kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Fergus McCready had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beollan Lavine in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bannan Duggan saved Peafield from getting behind. Pearse Silke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fergus McCready blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bannan Duggan having to make a save. Kevion Tierney got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 31st match minute, Peafield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevion Tierney to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Beollan Lavine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bannan Duggan was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Peafield's zone, Fergus McCready stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bannan Duggan came out of the goal and Fergus McCready tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Breenan Ghee hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Bannan Duggan came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Clooneagh's Beollan Lavine. But to his dismay, Beollan Lavine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Peafield players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clooneagh were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Rowan Ramsey made the kick off in the second half. Fergus McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bannan Duggan having to interfere. Fergus McCready who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Bannan Duggan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Terrence McAlphie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clooneagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Terrence McAlphie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bannan Duggan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th match minute, Peafield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breenan Ghee to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rowan Ramsey couldn't finish the play. If Beollan Lavine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clooneagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beollan Lavine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fergus McCready scored 0-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bannan Duggan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Clooneagh left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Peafield.
