Barde Sheridan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brockra Utd's Pearse McPhil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Banban McSteven in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Declan Caffey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glacknabrade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Declan Caffey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Coinneach Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Barde Sheridan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Glacknabrade got a freekick which was hit by Brogan Dempsey. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Banban McSteven put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pearse McPhil. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Barde Sheridan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Glacknabrade's Benedict McStephen got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Brogan Dempsey charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brogan Dempsey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brogan Dempsey hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes Brockra Utd got a freekick which was hit by Tirloch McPhilip. Pearse McPhil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Declan Caffey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pearse McPhil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Declan Caffey's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Glacknabrade's Declan Caffey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pearse McPhil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Glacknabrade were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Coinneach Colwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glacknabrade's Barde Sheridan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tirloch McPhilip in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Glacknabrade got a freekick which was hit by Brogan Dempsey. Coinneach Colwell might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barde Sheridan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Coinneach Colwell ran back to his position shaking his head. Banban McSteven's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pearse McPhil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Bar McWill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brockra Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glacknabrade the free kick. In the 64th minute, Bar McWill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barde Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tirloch McPhilip in the 67th minute of play. Banban McSteven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pearse McPhil having to interfere. Daron Dunne hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Declan Caffey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glacknabrade fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 84th minute Banban McSteven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pearse McPhil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barde Sheridan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coinneach Colwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Tirloch McPhilip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Glacknabrade had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
