Brak Dunne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryland Taylor in the 9th minute of play. When Ryland Taylor came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Maryfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryland Taylor couldn't finish the play. Brant Moran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Brant Moran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavin Frankson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Baird Hutton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brak Dunne was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Patton Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reilley Byrne took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gavin Frankson. Maryfield's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Kocury's Brant Moran got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brant Moran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brak Dunne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baird Hutton in the 38th minute of play. Brak Dunne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baird Hutton's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Baird Hutton succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. When Maryfield's Ryland Taylor in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kocury's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of FC Kocury booed when Maryfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finn Barrett didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Ryland Taylor put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Brak Dunne. Baird Hutton got in the 64th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Brak Dunne handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Beacan Tierney kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ryland Taylor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Brak Dunne when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Darrick Jameson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Brak Dunne had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Baird Hutton from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Gavin Frankson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brant Moran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryland Taylor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baird Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Brak Dunne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryland Taylor struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Brak Dunne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maryfield. The supporters of Maryfield booed when FC Kocury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darrick Jameson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute of the match Maryfield got a corner. FC Kocury's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hayes Harkin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Maryfield's Bar McJohn to a score. 1-4 in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Maryfield had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
