Tirloch McPhilip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 played minutes Glacknabrade got a freekick which was hit by Berry Deans. After 13 played minutes, Brockra Utd's Finnigan McIan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Barde Sheridan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brockra Utd reached it. Coinneach Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Barde Sheridan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Brockra Utd booed when Glacknabrade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedict McStephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pearse McPhil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Banban McSteven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Banban McSteven blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pearse McPhil having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Brockra Utd's Bar McWill got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Banban McSteven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glacknabrade's supporters rose to their feet, but Banban McSteven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pearse McPhil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Banban McSteven in the 43rd minute of play forced Brockra Utd's goalkeeper Pearse McPhil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brockra Utd's Pearse McPhil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Brockra Utd from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Banban McSteven stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Benedict McStephen fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glacknabrade's protests and gave Benedict McStephen a yellow card for diving instead. Benedict McStephen hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Tirloch McPhilip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barde Sheridan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pearse McPhil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daron Dunne got free with Barde Sheridan in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pearse McPhil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Banban McSteven in the 86th minute of play. Brockra Utd's Pearse McPhil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Declan Caffey in the 88th minute of play. If Banban McSteven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the match, Banban McSteven notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Brockra Utd's Pearse McPhil. Pearse McPhil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barde Sheridan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tirloch McPhilip in the 96th minute of the match.
