Curhownagh Park
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Coran Doyle was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brenan Myler showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Alfred McDecland notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Drom Utd's Coran Doyle. Coran Doyle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 11 minutes of play, Curhownagh's Alfred McDecland made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Coran Doyle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfred McDecland had several of the Drom Utd's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Coran Doyle as he didn't even see the shot coming. Coran Doyle had great luck who in the 17thth minute grab hold of the ball when Blathma McSteve from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Coran Doyle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred McDecland in the 19th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Brenan Myler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drom Utd's Coran Doyle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Curhownagh's Brenan Myler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Coran Doyle. That made the score 5-0 after 21 minutes of play. Drom Utd's Coran Doyle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Drom Utd from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 27 in the game by Blathma McSteve from a close distance when the talented Coran Doyle managed to make a qualified save. Drom Utd's players were relieved. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Coran Doyle successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 31st minute, one of Drom Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Drom Utd. The supporters of Drom Utd booed when Curhownagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renny Tierney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beary McGlenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Coran Doyle came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Curhownagh's Alfred McDecland. But to his dismay, Alfred McDecland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When Curhownagh's Alfred McDecland in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drom Utd's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th minute, Brandan Cooney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Drom Utd's zone, Rowen Branson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Coran Doyle came out of the goal and Rowen Branson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Alfred McDecland put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Coran Doyle. In the 72nd minute Alfred McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Coran Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coran Doyle came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Curhownagh's Brenan Myler. But to his dismay, Brenan Myler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Alfred McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Brenan Myler notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Drom Utd's Coran Doyle. Coran Doyle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beary McGlenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beary McGlenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Coran Doyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred McDecland in the 97th minute of play.
