Thanks to some nice moves Alfred McDecland could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Casey McJohn however easily saved by the left post. Curhownagh's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rowen Branson in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Alfred McDecland could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Casey McJohn however easily saved by the left post. Barhart Dunne hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Drink Team's Casey McJohn got control of the ball when Alfred McDecland tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Curhownagh fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Curhownagh's Brenan Myler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Drink Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Brenainn Martyn scored to the left of an out of position Casey McJohn, making the score, 3-0. Brenan Myler hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Cianán John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 49 minutes, Blathma McSteve made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Drink Team's Casey McJohn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conn McStephen to make the kick off. Brenan Myler succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. After 60th play minutes Alfred McDecland shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Casey McJohn and just under the crossbar into goal. Casey McJohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brenan Myler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Alfred McDecland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casey McJohn was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Brenan Myler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Casey McJohn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Drink Team's zone, Alfred McDecland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casey McJohn came out of the goal and Alfred McDecland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 minutes, Blathma McSteve made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Drink Team's Casey McJohn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bodibeua Caffrey hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute Alfred McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casey McJohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Alfred McDecland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casey McJohn was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 90thth minute of the game Alfred McDecland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drink Team's Casey McJohn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred McDecland in the 92nd minute of play forced Drink Team's goalkeeper Casey McJohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casey McJohn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blathma McSteve, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Casey McJohn came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Curhownagh's Alfred McDecland. But to his dismay, Alfred McDecland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Curhownagh fully deserved thier win.
