Bel Todd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braedon Savic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baydan McCollion in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bradaigh Taylor saved Bohemian FC from getting behind. 25 minutes into the game, Gormanstown AFC's Baydan McCollion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bradaigh Taylor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Braon Gollogley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baydan McCollion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bradaigh Taylor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Blaire McStephen came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Gormanstown AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blaire McStephen couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Baydan McCollion sped through Bohemian FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bradaigh Taylor. After the first half Gormanstown AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Gormanstown AFC booed when Bohemian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darick McPhil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bray Sheridan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bradaigh Taylor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Baydan McCollion lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Bradaigh Taylor. Bel Todd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62ndth minute of the game Baydan McCollion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bohemian FC's Bradaigh Taylor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Baydan McCollion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradaigh Taylor was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the game, Braon Gollogley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bohemian FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gormanstown AFC the free kick. A collision led to Bohemian FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Braon Gollogley hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Bohemian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bel Todd came free, but Bradaigh Taylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bradaigh Taylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braedon Savic in the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Baydan McCollion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gormanstown AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baydan McCollion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradaigh Taylor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Darick McPhil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gormanstown AFC's goalkeeper Quaid McJon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baydan McCollion in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bradaigh Taylor saved Bohemian FC from getting behind. Baydan McCollion didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-6 via right post in the game's 84th minute. Gormanstown AFC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Bohemian FC's Bradaigh Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baydan McCollion in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes Bohemian FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baydan McCollion who took care of the corner kick. The Bohemian FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gormanstown AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
