Lettermore's Brannen Ferguson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beccan McNamee in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, Lettermore's Brannen Ferguson got control of the ball when Bean McAaron tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bec Lavine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Coyle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Beccan McNamee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannen Ferguson having to interfere. Lettermore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Sabinow Power the free kick. In the 29th minute, one of Lettermore:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lettermore. Beccan McNamee got in the 33rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Brannen Ferguson handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Auley Ryan's late challenge caught a FC Sabinow Power's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Auley Ryan helped the player get up and apologised. Auley Ryan kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Harrigan Todd sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lettermore's Brannen Ferguson didn't even have to move. Bean McAaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Brannen Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas Coyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brion Caffrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brannen Ferguson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beccan McNamee in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beccan McNamee to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Beairtle McCollion got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 68 minutes, Carson Dunne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Sabinow Power and the Lettermore players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bec Lavine in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Coyle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Lettermore getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Auley Ryan hit a great ball. In the 77th match minute, Lettermore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beairtle McCollion to maneuver through the defense. Harrigan Todd took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brannen Ferguson. Lettermore's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Auley Ryan hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Bean McAaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bec Lavine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
