Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baoithin Gough kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Iarla McStephen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leansaghane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salia Sparta Club the free kick. Brak Brennan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baoithin Gough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Colm Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Salia Sparta Club booed when Leansaghane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iarla McStephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brant McLiam in the 14th minute of play forced Leansaghane's goalkeeper Brian Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colm Quinnless made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baoithin Gough in the 18th minute. Baoithin Gough received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Colm Quinnless came out and tried to block the shot, but Baoithin Gough slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Salia Sparta Club's Colm Quinnless got control of the ball when Baoithin Gough tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Leansaghane getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Bairthmead Rutherford hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes Leansaghane got a freekick which was hit by Denny Caffey. In the 33rd minute of the match Gilbeirt Savic shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brian Johnson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Baoithin Gough blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Colm Quinnless having to make a save. Colm Quinnless took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baoithin Gough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Baoithin Gough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colm Quinnless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, one of Salia Sparta Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Salia Sparta Club:s Colm Quinnless showed great skill when he stopped Iarla McStephen:s penalty.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brak Brennan made a kick off. If Baoithin Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bairthmead Rutherford kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Henry Callaghan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm Quinnless having to interfere. After some careless play in the Salia Sparta Club defense, Baoithin Gough kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Colm Quinnless. The Salia Sparta Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colm Quinnless should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Leansaghane booed when Salia Sparta Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brant McLiam didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Leansaghane's Baoithin Gough sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colm Quinnless narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Salia Sparta Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bedilia Sheridan came free, but Colm Quinnless reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bourns McCready fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leansaghane's protests and gave Bourns McCready a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee ended the match the Leansaghane players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
