Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Caroll Lester took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Boyd Scully fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monasterevin's protests and gave Boyd Scully a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Monasterevin getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Boyd Scully hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the game, Fionntán Dimson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monasterevin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio Marina F.C the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Monasterevin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Rio Marina F.C. Berchan McSteve stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Art McSteven. 0-1. Rio Marina F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Caroll Lester scored to the left of an out of position Bercan Hamilton, making the score, 1-2. Bercan Hamilton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caroll Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevion Mulvihill took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bercan Hamilton. Bercan Hamilton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Caroll Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bercan Hamilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ryley Gallagher in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Art McSteven prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Marina F.C's zone, Reagan Kelly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bercan Hamilton came out of the goal and Reagan Kelly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pearse Delaney charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pearse Delaney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pearse Delaney kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Bercan Hamilton made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Kevion Mulvihill sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute of the match, Theobald Myler tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bercan Hamilton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Rio Marina F.C's Brann McCollion got a free kick in the 45th minute. The long shot by Bowen Harkin in the 47th minute really tested Bercan Hamilton's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryley Gallagher to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bercan McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Kevion Mulvihill ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bercan Hamilton was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Monasterevin's zone, Berchan McSteve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Art McSteven came out of the goal and Berchan McSteve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Reagan Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Rio Marina F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Kevion Mulvihill came free, but Bercan Hamilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bercan Hamilton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theobald Myler in the 74th minute of the match. Bercan Hamilton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevion Mulvihill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caroll Lester in the 79th minute of play forced Rio Marina F.C's goalkeeper Bercan Hamilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryley Gallagher let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 87th minute shot 3-4 at rihgt post. Bercan Hamilton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theobald Myler in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Theobald Myler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bercan Hamilton. Rio Marina F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Theobald Myler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. Art McSteven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryley Gallagher in the 95th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
