Pollrone's Bearach McDonald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buach McJohnny in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Binnech McPhil during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pollrone's Doney McLaughlin got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doney McLaughlin to make the kick off. Bearach McDonald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buach McJohnny, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Bearach McDonald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Binnech McPhil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Pollrone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rowan Palmer to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denny McFrank during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. During the 70th minute of the match Binnech McPhil completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Turkstown were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
