Irwin McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul McJohnny in the 9th minute of play. Tyrone Rogers made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Paul McJohnny. Paul McJohnny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irwin McJohnny having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Louie Morrison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shankill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bunnanaddan Utd the free kick. Louie Morrison hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute of the match Tyrone Rogers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Irwin McJohnny skillfully saved the ball. Tyrone Rogers made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Shankill's Ricard Matthews. Paul McJohnnys short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Irwin McJohnny to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bunnanaddan Utd's Tyrone Rogers suffered a sore thigh after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Shankill's Louie Morrison got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Louie Morrison off the ground. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Shankill's Saoirse McStephen got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Paul McJohnny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Quinn Hamilton hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The long shot by Basil McPaul in the 69th minute really tested Harrigan Grant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 73 minutes into the game, Gehan Moran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shankill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bunnanaddan Utd the free kick. Saoirse McStephen kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Shankill's Irwin McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul McJohnny in the 88th minute of play. Bunnanaddan Utd succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Shankill had controlled the match.
