The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harrigan Grant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Harrigan Grant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gearóid Doherty in the 37th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Rowland McIan made a precise shot to the right of Harrigan Grant. Bunnanaddan Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gearóid Doherty to make the kick off. When Gearóid Doherty came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Scronagare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gearóid Doherty couldn't finish the play. After 58 played minutes Bunnanaddan Utd got a freekick which was hit by Reagan McNamara. A collision led to Bunnanaddan Utd getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Tyrone Rogers hit a great ball. Bairthmead Harkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baydan McBrandon having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Lee Dempsey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bunnanaddan Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scronagare the free kick. In the 76th minute, Lee Dempsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul McJohnny during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paul McJohnny hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, one of Bunnanaddan Utd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Harrigan Grant made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Rowland McIan sent off a good shot on target. Bradon Gollogley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Harrigan Grant made a huge save. After 91 played minutes Scronagare got a freekick which was hit by Sameer McJames. Paul McJohnny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baydan McBrandon having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, Bunnanaddan Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boland McBrandon to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Sameer McJames in the 99th minute really tested Harrigan Grant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Scronagare's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
