Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ailill McAlphie started the match with the kick off. Harkin McGlenn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gill McPhilip in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Littlemill Brunts getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Rordan Deans hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Balor Willson during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gill McPhilip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harkin McGlenn having to interfere. When Teris Dempsey came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Tyrrelstown FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teris Dempsey couldn't finish the play. When Iarla McDecland fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Littlemill Brunts's protests and gave Iarla McDecland a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Littlemill Brunts got a freekick which was hit by Iarla McDecland. 18 minutes into the match, Tyrrelstown FC's goalkeeper Torrey McOliver had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaden Doherty. Aaden Doherty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ailill McAlphie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Torrey McOliver managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Littlemill Brunts's Aaden Doherty fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 31 minutes into the match, Littlemill Brunts's goal looked a bit too open when Teris Dempsey came free, but Harkin McGlenn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Gill McPhilip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harkin McGlenn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Tyrrelstown FC's Teris Dempsey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harkin McGlenn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaden Doherty in the 46th minute of play forced Tyrrelstown FC's goalkeeper Torrey McOliver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaden Doherty to make the kick off. Teris Dempsey received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Harkin McGlenn came out and tried to block the shot, but Teris Dempsey slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 52nd minute. Harkin McGlenn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ailill McAlphie, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 61 minutes, Dane McSteven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Littlemill Brunts and the Tyrrelstown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Littlemill Brunts's Dane McSteven got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaden Doherty in the 65th minute of play forced Tyrrelstown FC's goalkeeper Torrey McOliver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tyrrelstown FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aaden Doherty was slow to take the kick. During this time Littlemill Brunts's players had a chance to rest. Harkin McGlenn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teris Dempsey in the 69th minute. If Ailill McAlphie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gill McPhilip charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gill McPhilip the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gill McPhilip kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Aaden Doherty made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tyrrelstown FC's Torrey McOliver tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Tyrrelstown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aaden Doherty came free, but Torrey McOliver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Teris Dempsey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Harkin McGlenn. Teris Dempsey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Littlemill Brunts's goalkeeper Harkin McGlenn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tyrrelstown FC played a much better game than Littlemill Brunts and deserved their victory. The Littlemill Brunts players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
