Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Adamnan Palmer's late challenge caught a Coorleagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adamnan Palmer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bunlahy getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Adamnan Palmer hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Bunlahy's Pearse Frankson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Doney Crowe might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antaine Byrne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doney Crowe ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Rory Ramsey took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Antaine Byrne to make any attempt to save it. 20 minutes into the game, Bunlahy's Tomás Brennan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beltany Horgan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Doney Crowe didn't quite understand what happened when in the 29 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Bunlahy's Brogan Sheridan got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Beatty McFrank made a precise shot to the right of Beltany Horgan. Coorleagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Coorleagh's zone, Beatty McFrank stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beltany Horgan came out of the goal and Beatty McFrank tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beltany Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beatty McFrank, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Bradain Doyle made the kick off in the second half. Rory Ramsey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antaine Byrne having to make a save. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Bradain Doyle sped through Bunlahy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antaine Byrne. After 57 played minutes Bunlahy got a freekick which was hit by Beltany Harkin. In the 63rd match minute, Coorleagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riddoc McVictor to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fergal McNamara during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Bunlahy got a freekick which was hit by Fergal McNamara. In the 74th minute Bradain Doyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antaine Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beltany Horgan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beatty McFrank in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Bunlahy's goal looked a bit too open when Bradain Doyle came free, but Antaine Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Coorleagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brann McTommy to maneuver through the defense. Coorleagh's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
