Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quinn McBrandon started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Ennis Tracy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballyguin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fahamore the free kick. After 10 played minutes Ballyguin got a freekick which was hit by Ennis Tracy. Quinn McBrandon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Bartel Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Bartel Crowe managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Fahamore's Quinn McBrandon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Quinn McBrandon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Fahamore's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Kelly came free, but Kain McLian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Kelly in the 23rd minute of play forced Fahamore's goalkeeper Kain McLian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Quinn McBrandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quinn McBrandon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Bartel Crowe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 29th minute, Piers McGlynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 35 in the game by Quinn McBrandon from a close distance when the talented Bartel Crowe managed to make a qualified save. Ballyguin's players were relieved. Bartel Crowe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Quinn McBrandon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. Sherlock Lavine made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fahamore's Piers McGlynn. A sloppy throw-in by Bean Jameson in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fahamore's Caimin Myler.

The wind increased when Ennis Tracy made the kick off in the second half. Bartel Crowe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinn McBrandon, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Tomás Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Kelly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Kain McLian made a huge save. Patrick McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fahamore's Kain McLian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Fahamore from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyguin's zone, Quinn McBrandon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartel Crowe came out of the goal and Quinn McBrandon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ennis Tracy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
