Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Torrey McOliver made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Finnigan Branson sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Finnigan Branson in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torrey McOliver saved Tyrrelstown FC from getting behind. When Coorleagh's Finnigan Branson, in the 9th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Coorleagh. Beltany Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ailill McAlphie, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Tyrrelstown FC's goalkeeper Torrey McOliver had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Finnigan Branson. After 17 played minutes Coorleagh got a freekick which was hit by Lewis McLaughlin. Teris Dempsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beltany Horgan having to interfere. The supporters of Coorleagh booed when Tyrrelstown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teris Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Finnigan Branson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torrey McOliver read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Beltany Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ailill McAlphie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Coorleagh's goal looked a bit too open when Ailill McAlphie came free, but Beltany Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beltany Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ailill McAlphie in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Gill McPhilip had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beltany Horgan. Coorleagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gill McPhilip was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
53 minutes into the game, Eoghan Kirby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coorleagh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tyrrelstown FC the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Eoghan Kirby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes Coorleagh got a freekick which was hit by Eoghan Kirby. Torrey McOliver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rory Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When Finnigan Branson fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coorleagh's protests and gave Finnigan Branson a yellow card for diving instead. Lewis McLaughlin hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Burke Palmer, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Ailill McAlphie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tyrrelstown FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coorleagh the free kick. 82 minutes into the match, Coorleagh's goalkeeper Beltany Horgan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teris Dempsey. Ailill McAlphie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rory Ramsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Torrey McOliver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beltany Horgan was a little too slow when Teris Dempsey got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-2.
