Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Finnigan Branson took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 12 minutes, Gearóid McPhil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coorleagh and the Shanacrane players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Coorleagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gearóid McPhil to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dermot Prunty in the 13th minute of play forced Coorleagh's goalkeeper Beltany Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Coorleagh's protests and gave Eoghan Kirby a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Coorleagh getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Eoghan Kirby hit a great ball. Shanacrane's Bradigan Caffrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory Ramsey in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Caimin Caffey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bealtaine Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Finnigan Branson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bradigan Caffrey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Shanacrane's goal looked a bit too open when Finnigan Branson came free, but Bradigan Caffrey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes, Shanacrane's Paudraig Quinnless shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beltany Horgan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shanacrane reached it. Beltany Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dermot Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to Shanacrane getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Birr Hutton hit a great ball. Doney Crowe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bradigan Caffrey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Dermot Prunty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dermot Prunty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Finnigan Branson hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Bradigan Caffrey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finnigan Branson in the 54th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brann McTommy during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Coorleagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brann McTommy to maneuver through the defense. Coorleagh's Roy Horgan pulled a muscle in his leg after 68 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Bin Benson fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shanacrane's protests and gave Bin Benson a yellow card for diving instead. Coorleagh's Nolyn Morrison was substituted for Roy Horgan. In the 69th match minute, Shanacrane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bin Benson to maneuver through the defense. Shanacrane's Bradigan Caffrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finnigan Branson in the 74th minute of play. Dermot Prunty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Beltany Horgan made a huge save. Finnigan Branson might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bradigan Caffrey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Finnigan Branson ran back to his position shaking his head. Bradigan Caffrey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finnigan Branson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Dermot Prunty came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beltany Horgan could save by the left post. Nolyn Morrison hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rory Ramsey in the 96th minute of play forced Shanacrane's goalkeeper Bradigan Caffrey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
