After a defensive mix-up in Fahamore's zone, Bin Benson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kain McLian came out of the goal and Bin Benson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Quinn McBrandon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bradigan Caffrey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quinn McBrandon went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Shanacrane's Caimin Caffey got a free kick in the 20th minute. Quinn McBrandon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Fahamore defense, Bin Benson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kain McLian. The Fahamore fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kain McLian should have stopped the shot. Bradigan Caffrey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinn McBrandon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Birr Hutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Shanacrane's Bradigan Caffrey got control of the ball when Quinn McBrandon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 played minutes Patrick McDecland rounded Shanacrane's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dermot Prunty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kain McLian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dermot Prunty in the 55th minute of the match. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-2 in the 79th minute. After 87 played minutes Shanacrane got a freekick which was hit by Caimin Caffey. Birr Hutton charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birr Hutton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, Shanacrane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birr Hutton to maneuver through the defense. Bradigan Caffrey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quinn McBrandon went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Fahamore's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
