The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremiah Morrison during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jeremiah Morrison kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Bevin Todd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack McAlphie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brennon McIan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Garrett McFrank was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aspire Alligators Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portleen FC the free kick. Brennon McIan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Brennon McIan in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jack McAlphie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coileán McLiam in the 14th minute of play forced Aspire Alligators Academy's goalkeeper Jack McAlphie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Flannery Rutherford sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jack McAlphie skillfully saved the ball. Brennon McIan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jack McAlphie 16 minutes into the match. Brennon McIan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Jack McAlphie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 20th match minute, Aspire Alligators Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garrett McFrank to maneuver through the defense. Jack McAlphie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conor Ramsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brennon McIan might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jack McAlphie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brennon McIan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute, Garrett McFrank made a precise shot to the right of Colmcille Frankson. Portleen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Pearse Beckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rorry McGlynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack McAlphie having to interfere. Colmcille Frankson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toran Taylor in the 40th minute of the match. Colmcille Frankson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarlath Dempsey in the 41st minute of play. After 42 played minutes Portleen FC got a freekick which was hit by Rorry McGlynn. Aspire Alligators Academy's Jack McAlphie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Aspire Alligators Academy from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brennon McIan was the one to do the kick off. When Brennon McIan came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Portleen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brennon McIan couldn't finish the play. Brennon McIan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack McAlphie having to interfere. Bard Caffey kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Brennon McIan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aspire Alligators Academy's Jack McAlphie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conor Ramsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jack McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garrett McFrank kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Aspire Alligators Academy's Jack McAlphie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brennon McIan in the 67th minute of play. Brennon McIan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jack McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Aspire Alligators Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Brennon McIan came free, but Jack McAlphie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brennon McIan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack McAlphie having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Rorry McGlynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, Aspire Alligators Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bard Caffey to maneuver through the defense. Aspire Alligators Academy's Jack McAlphie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearse Beckett in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Aspire Alligators Academy getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jarlath Dempsey hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Brennon McIan sped through Aspire Alligators Academy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jack McAlphie. When Conor Ramsey came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Portleen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conor Ramsey couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Aspire Alligators Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Pearse Beckett came free, but Jack McAlphie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Portleen FC were the better team. Portleen FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
