Conor Ramsey might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jack McAlphie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conor Ramsey ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Aspire Alligators Academy's zone, Pearse Beckett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack McAlphie came out of the goal and Pearse Beckett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Aspire Alligators Academy support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
