Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donell Frankson kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Irishtown booed when Clortrane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coileán McIan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Artur Benson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Irishtown's Rowe Coyle quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Donell Frankson kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Gealan Holt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nollaig Benson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Irishtown's goal looked a bit too open when Gealan Holt came free, but Nollaig Benson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciarán McCready's late challenge caught a Clortrane's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciarán McCready helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Irishtown got a freekick which was hit by Ciarán McCready. Rowe Coyle kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Clortrane's Keeghan McBrandon suffered a sore thigh after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rowe Coyle charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rowe Coyle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Rowe Coyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nollaig Benson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bracken McWill's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Irishtown's Kealan Hunt got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Irishtown got a freekick which was hit by Boynton Perth. Coileán McIan struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Nollaig Benson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clortrane. Coileán McIan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nollaig Benson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coileán McIan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Donall Cronin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irishtown's supporters rose to their feet, but Donall Cronin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blaine McCready breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A long shot from Rowe Coyle in the 47th minute of play was well struck, but Blaine McCready made a really good save at the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Kealan Hunt in the 52nd minute of play forced Clortrane's goalkeeper Blaine McCready to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blaine McCready showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kealan Hunt in the 55th minute of the match. After 61 minutes, Brannon Hutton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Irishtown and the Clortrane players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Brannon Hutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciarán McCready got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ciarán McCready hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes Irishtown got a freekick which was hit by Donall Cronin. After 70 played minutes Irishtown got a freekick which was hit by Donall Cronin. The throw-in from Blayne Palmer in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Irishtown's Donall Cronin. Nollaig Benson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bracken McWill in the 89th minute of play. Boynton Perth kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Clortrane's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Irishtown had won, even though Clortrane had held more of the ball.
