The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Rudy Lukas got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Torrey Molloy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Badia DevilZ's Mario Pizzuto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute Beagan Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Pizzuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Pizzuto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Badia DevilZ booed when 1948 MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Lukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Badia DevilZ's Mario Pizzuto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aban McBjarton in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Badia DevilZ's zone, Aban McBjarton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Pizzuto came out of the goal and Aban McBjarton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolan McJames in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Blair Benson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ter Stegen. 1948 MKS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blair Benson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Rolan McLian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1948 MKS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolan McLian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolan McJames, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolan McJames in the 37th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toshko Toshkov got free with Ter Stegen in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mario Pizzuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigan Frankson in the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toshko Toshkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute of the match, Rigan Frankson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mario Pizzuto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Benson in the 58th minute of play. Torrey Molloy might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Pizzuto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torrey Molloy ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Dolan McJames came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Badia DevilZ got a freekick which was hit by Bearnard Caffrey. Badia DevilZ's Mario Pizzuto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torrey Molloy in the 72nd minute of play. Mario Pizzuto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torrey Molloy went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blair Benson in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in 1948 MKS's zone, Toshko Toshkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ter Stegen came out of the goal and Toshko Toshkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1948 MKS were furious when Kaine Kirby was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 1948 MKS! After 94 minutes, Patty Hutton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Badia DevilZ and the 1948 MKS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Badia DevilZ's Patty Hutton got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Torrey Molloy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mario Pizzuto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. 1948 MKS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
