In the 3rd minute Beagan Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Rochet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Uí Fergusa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Maldini to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Uí Fergusa's Paulo Maldini got a free kick in the 12th minute. Sergio Rochet made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Torrey Molloy sent off a good shot on target. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xie Rong Hao in the 14th minute of play. Torrey Molloy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Rochet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Rigan Frankson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sergio Rochet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uí Fergusa's Sergio Rochet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Uí Fergusa from getting a goal against them. Ter Stegen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adama Traore's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After taking down the ball on 1948 MKS's corner Ersin Uyguralp fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sergio Rochet quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Sergio Rochet managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Uí Fergusa made a substitution. Bow McGlynn replaced Wilson Severino. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adama Traore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, 1948 MKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaine Kirby to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adama Traore in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ter Stegen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Rigan Frankson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucio Ortega kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes, 1948 MKS's Ersin Uyguralp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sergio Rochet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 1948 MKS reached it. A nice corner shot did that Ersin Uyguralp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sergio Rochet quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 68 minutes, Torrey Molloy made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Uí Fergusa's Sergio Rochet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's goal looked a bit too open when Torrey Molloy came free, but Sergio Rochet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ter Stegen made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Adama Traore sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's goal looked a bit too open when Torrey Molloy came free, but Sergio Rochet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torrey Molloy in the 82nd minute of play forced Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Sergio Rochet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance for a goal. 86 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's goal looked a bit too open when Torrey Molloy came free, but Sergio Rochet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Rochet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torrey Molloy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute 1948 MKS were awarded a corner. Ersin Uyguralp went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ersin Uyguralp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uí Fergusa's Sergio Rochet did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in 1948 MKS's zone, Bow McGlynn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ter Stegen came out of the goal and Bow McGlynn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
