Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kurt Parslow made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 5 minutes, Nathan Tipton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plumpton Green's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nathan Tipton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlton Dlyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Mudd in the 9th minute of play. Noel Breeden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Brindley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Breeden made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Kurt Parslow sent off a good shot on target. Peter Drury received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Noel Breeden came out and tried to block the shot, but Peter Drury slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Kurt Parslow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Plumpton Green's Matty Wilkes got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Zane Stockton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlton Dlyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Tommy Brindley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Noel Breeden, 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Lowton's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Brindley came free, but Noel Breeden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lowton's Zackary Booth got a free kick in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Peter Drury recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Noel Breeden. Peter Drury showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradley Halliwell in the 47th minute of play forced Plumpton Green's goalkeeper Carlton Dlyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Philip Mudd to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Lowton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zackary Booth to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Kurt Parslow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Breeden was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Parslow in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Breeden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Drury in the 59th minute of play forced Lowton's goalkeeper Noel Breeden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Brindley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Drury in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Breeden saved Lowton from getting behind. Tommy Brindley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Plumpton Green's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Mudd came free, but Carlton Dlyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lowton booed when Plumpton Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sol Beckford didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Kurt Parslow put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Noel Breeden. Tommy Brindley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Plumpton Green's Kurt Parslow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noel Breeden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Plumpton Green walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
