Spectators: 7405 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 50) Felixstowe City's Alex Castledine started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Felixstowe City getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Marek McCartney hit a great ball. Dylan Hammond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stuart Hedges having to interfere. With a little luck, Felixstowe City's Stuart Hedges got control of the ball when Howard Acton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dylan Hammond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Howard Actons short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Stuart Hedges to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Dylan Hammond came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Misfits fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dylan Hammond couldn't finish the play. If Dylan Hammond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Howard Acton notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Felixstowe City's Stuart Hedges. Stuart Hedges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Felixstowe City booed when Misfits was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Bergström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Garforth in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beinn Buckley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd match minute, Felixstowe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Prutton to maneuver through the defense. Nathanial Barker was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Howard Acton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Stuart Hedges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dylan Hammond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stuart Hedges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Howard Acton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felixstowe City's Stuart Hedges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Howard Acton in the 41st minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Howard Acton was the one to do the kick off. Felixstowe City's Stuart Hedges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Hammond in the 52nd minute of play. When Misfits's Dylan Hammond in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Felixstowe City's goalie prevented a goal. A beautiful save bye Felixstowe City's goalie prevented a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Felixstowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Howard Acton came free, but Stuart Hedges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Dylan Hammond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Misfits's supporters rose to their feet, but Dylan Hammond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stuart Hedges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 2-0 became the score in the 68th minute when Howard Acton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Stuart Hedges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylan Hammond in the 71st minute of the match. Misfits's Giles Selby quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sebastian Reed, made in the 73rd minute of the game. Marek McCartney hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Dylan Hammond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marek McCartney kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Stuart Hedges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Howard Acton in the 79th minute of play. Stuart Hedges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Howard Acton, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 84 played minutes Felixstowe City got a freekick which was hit by Marek McCartney. Howard Acton struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Stuart Hedges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Misfits. After a rather tough play, Felixstowe City's Simon Prutton got a free kick in the 87th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Misfits's Howard Acton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stuart Hedges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Misfits fully deserved thier win.
