Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cliff Caton started the match with the kick off. Steve Titmuss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaq Afful in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Phil Brownlow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Star XI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phil Brownlow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steve Titmuss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cliff Caton in the 14th minute of play. Adam Ealham scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steve Titmuss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cliff Caton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dale Heywood took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Steve Titmuss. All Star XI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All Star XI's Steve Titmuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Scriven in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cliff Caton in the 28th minute of play forced All Star XI's goalkeeper Steve Titmuss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, All Star XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Holt to maneuver through the defense. Steve Titmuss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cliff Caton in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Matty Barton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wimbledon's Gerry Deaconsfield couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for All Star XI. After 35 played minutes All Star XI got a freekick which was hit by Matty Barton. Thanks to some nice moves Lewis Burnham could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Chesney Blackley however easily saved by the left post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lewis Burnham to strike the kick off in the second half. When Matty Barton was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, All Star XI's Matty Barton got a free kick in the 54th minute. 59 minutes into the match, All Star XI's goalkeeper Steve Titmuss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Ealham. Lewis Burnham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chesney Blackley having to interfere. If Billy Scriven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chesney Blackley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitch Land, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chesney Blackley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lewis Burnham, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Christian Holt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billy Scriven kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Wimbledon's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
