After 7 played minutes sodjag stars got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Ash. sodjag stars's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Zak Slade scored to the left of an out of position Joey Westlake, making the score, 2-0. Michael Larsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Joey Westlake made a huge save. 14 minutes into the game, Rodney Stockton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joey Westlake. Rodney Stockton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Blair Rocastle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Stevens in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, sodjag stars's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Qvarnström came free, but Joey Westlake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. sodjag stars's Joey Westlake proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save sodjag stars from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Gordon Ash hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, sodjag stars's goalkeeper Joey Westlake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Larsson. Kevin Doyle was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. Michael Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrew Stevens in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blair Rocastle saved Dodge City from getting behind. sodjag stars's Joey Westlake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodney Stockton in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Larsson got free with Joey Westlake in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zak Slade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Joey Westlake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrew Stevens scored 4-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blair Rocastle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrew Stevens to strike the kick off in the second half. Michael Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Joey Westlake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodney Stockton charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodney Stockton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodney Stockton hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Michael Larsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joey Westlake was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 73 minutes, Deon Acton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the sodjag stars and the Dodge City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Blair Rocastle was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andrew Stevens showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-2 in the 79 minute of play. In the 83rd minute Mikael Qvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey Westlake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keiran Basterfield scored 6-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joey Westlake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
