Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Harvey Rowling started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Eddie Gurney made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Rhys Attwood sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Barking's zone, Harvey Rowling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Gurney came out of the goal and Harvey Rowling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Harvey Rowling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harvey Rowling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Gurney having to interfere. When Harvey Rowling came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Hectic United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harvey Rowling couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Eddie Gurney successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eddie Gurney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harvey Rowling in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Harvey Rowling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Gurney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harvey Rowling struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Eddie Gurney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hectic United. If Harvey Rowling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Rhys Attwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hectic United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rhys Attwood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harvey Rowling in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddie Gurney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harvey Rowling struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Eddie Gurney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hectic United. Sean Moss hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Tom Parkinson's late challenge caught a Hectic United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tom Parkinson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Barking getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Tom Parkinson hit a great ball. Rhys Attwood took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eddie Gurney. Eddie Gurney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jacob Marler didn't quite understand what happened when in the 79 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Barking's Eddie Gurney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Osmond in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Rhys Attwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eddie Gurney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rhys Attwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Eddie Gurney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rhys Attwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
