Ritchie Butcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Hawke, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute Marek Hawke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ritchie Butcher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ashley Hardcastle's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Reem Team booed when HeadHunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Gould didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Reem Team got a freekick which was hit by Andy Swanson. In the 30thth minute of the game Marek Hawke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HeadHunters's Ritchie Butcher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Ian Gould hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Reem Team were awarded a corner. Rich Godsall went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in HeadHunters's zone, Marek Hawke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ritchie Butcher came out of the goal and Marek Hawke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ashley Hardcastle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ritchie Butcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Reem Team's zone, Trevor Trunks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis Laverick came out of the goal and Trevor Trunks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ashley Hardcastle to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Marek Hawke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Marek Hawke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reem Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Hawke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Reem Team's Ashley Hardcastle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ritchie Butcher. That made the score 0-2 after 62 minutes of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Ashley Hardcastle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HeadHunters's Ritchie Butcher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Ruben Currie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HeadHunters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reem Team the free kick. In the 69th match minute, HeadHunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Currie to maneuver through the defense. If Ashley Hardcastle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marlon Glanvill hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Keith Waite managed to get in a good position for a shot. HeadHunters's supporters rose to their feet, but Keith Waite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Louis Laverick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Marek Hawke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reem Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 83rd match minute, HeadHunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Currie to maneuver through the defense. Rich Godsall took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ritchie Butcher. HeadHunters's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Ashley Hardcastle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HeadHunters's Ritchie Butcher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, HeadHunters's Ruben Currie got a free kick in the 95th minute.
