Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kirk Tomlin kicked off to start the match. Ken Cohens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Moon, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Stewart Potts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hardly Athletic's Dominic Roy managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stewart Potts in the 11 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirk Tomlin in the 15th minute of play forced Shobdon's goalkeeper Ken Cohens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ashley Dobson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Marc Harkness was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kristopher Harban. After a rather tough play, Hardly Athletic's Vince Gough got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Kirk Tomlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute Ashley Dobson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Cohens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ken Cohens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ashley Dobson in the 28th minute of play. Marc Harkness made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jez Sullivan in the 30th minute of play. If Kirk Tomlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stewart Copsey hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stewart Copsey to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Shobdon's Ken Cohens got control of the ball when Kirk Tomlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ashley Dobson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Cohens having to interfere.
