The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elland Road Faithful. Sol Bellamy walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 26th minute Marek Godfrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vernon Millman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Mattias Dalby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Mallon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Football Club Azkero's Vernon Millman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Godfrey in the 33rd minute of play.
