Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mattias Dalby took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Brad Sanderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 4 minutes, Seth Fowler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bollington City and the Football Club Azkero players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Bollington City got a freekick which was hit by Seth Fowler. In the 7th minute Martyn Walsh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vernon Millman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iain Forrest hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierce Goodwin in the 15th minute of play forced Football Club Azkero's goalkeeper Vernon Millman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bollington City's Martyn Walsh got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Iain Forrest was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Football Club Azkero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bollington City the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Dalby in the 25th minute of play forced Bollington City's goalkeeper Ged Renton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Football Club Azkero's Brad Sanderson got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Football Club Azkero's Mattias Dalby ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ged Renton. Ged Renton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Martyn Walsh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vernon Millman having to interfere. Vernon Millman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierce Goodwin in the 32nd minute of the match. If Brad Sanderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Football Club Azkero's goal looked a bit too open when Martyn Walsh came free, but Vernon Millman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vernon Millman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierce Goodwin in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Bollington City's Martyn Walsh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vernon Millman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martyn Walsh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute, Seth Fowler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Football Club Azkero's goalkeeper Vernon Millman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martyn Walsh to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Pierce Goodwin had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Iain Forrest hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ian Everard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Brad Sanderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ged Renton having to interfere. Martyn Walsh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Vernon Millman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Football Club Azkero's goalkeeper Vernon Millman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brad Sanderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brad Sanderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ged Renton having to interfere. Football Club Azkero's Vernon Millman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Walsh in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute, Bollington City's Victor Elwick ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vernon Millman. Vernon Millman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Bollington City's Martyn Walsh got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brad Sanderson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Football Club Azkero's zone, Martyn Walsh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vernon Millman came out of the goal and Martyn Walsh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seth Fowler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, Football Club Azkero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Dalby to maneuver through the defense. Vernon Millman was a little too slow when Victor Elwick got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-2. If Vince Couzens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
