The supporters of AC MILAN booed when Ebley City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Dimmock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Dean Basham could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Fernando Laurgain however easily saved by the left post. Peter Hibbert didn't quite understand what happened when in the 44 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 46 minutes into the match, Ebley City's goal looked a bit too open when Benji Nelson came free, but Sol Simms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
