Seating: 1610, VIP seats: 140) Jeremy Weston started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Stevenage's Eric Nightingale in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Norby's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Stevenage's zone, Bradley Hollingsworth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Kershaw came out of the goal and Bradley Hollingsworth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. George Kershaw stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ash Barratt's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. With his leg Martyn Gough managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Stevenage's Lewis Radcliffe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jeremy Weston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Norby's goalkeeper Martyn Gough, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Franz Parrott was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stevenage the free kick. A collision led to Norby getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Franz Parrott hit a great ball. Stevenage's George Kershaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ash Barratt in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradley Hollingsworth in the 25th minute of play forced Stevenage's goalkeeper George Kershaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lewis Radcliffe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martyn Gough read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. George Kershaw didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bradley Hollingsworth went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 43rd match minute, Norby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Parrott to maneuver through the defense. Lewis Radcliffe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Martyn Gough made a huge save. Ash Barratt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. George Kershaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ash Barratt to make the kick off. With splendid footwork Ash Barratt arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-3 by the left pole in the game's 53rd minute. Bradley Hollingsworth took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Kershaw. George Kershaw dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When Ash Barratt came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Norby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ash Barratt couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Norby's Ash Barratt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of George Kershaw. That made the score 0-5 after 67 minutes of play. When Ash Barratt came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Norby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ash Barratt couldn't finish the play. Ash Barratt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Norby's Ash Barratt in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stevenage's goalie prevented a goal. When Norby's Ash Barratt in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stevenage's goalie prevented a goal. Jeremy Weston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyn Gough having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremy Weston in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martyn Gough prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ash Barratt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. George Kershaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Norby's Bradley Hollingsworth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Kershaw narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Stevenage fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Norby were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
