With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joshua Dawson in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Goacher saved Everton AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Dawson in the 32nd minute of play forced Everton AFC's goalkeeper Paul Goacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Joshua Dawson made the kick off in the second half. Marty Preston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joshua Dawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Goacher having to interfere. The supporters of Cowplain booed when Everton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil Sadler didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Everton AFC's Vince Briggs in 69 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Danny Carroll guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Sammy Pascoe kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Vince Briggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Cowplain could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Everton AFC throughout the match.
