Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glen Boyle in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Forrest prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Holy Cross Mountains's Glyn Byrne got a free kick in the 7th minute. Kurt King hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kurt King sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt King charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tundra Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glen Boyle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Holy Cross Mountains's Max Forrest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Boyle in the 61st minute of play. With a left leg Max Forrest saved Holy Cross Mountains from getting behind. Max Forrest came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tundra Team's Glen Boyle. But to his dismay, Glen Boyle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tundra Team had played much better football throughout.
