Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bryan Carey-Bertram in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Warren Cummings prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute of the match Waterfoot got a corner. Little Harrowden FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benji Rayner ran over to the corner to take the kick. 78 minutes into the match, Little Harrowden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Carey-Bertram came free, but Warren Cummings reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes, Danny Fleming mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Little Harrowden FC and the Waterfoot players grew even worse after the yellow card.
