A collision led to Easingwold FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Neil Carragher hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Easingwold FC's zone, Teddy Bowden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Preston came out of the goal and Teddy Bowden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
