The supporters of Easingwold FC booed when Waterfoot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaz Lydiate didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Joseph Elliot took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Curtis Gallacher to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

In the 90thth minute of the game CJ Pollard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waterfoot's Curtis Gallacher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Easingwold FC's Joseph Elliot got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Easingwold FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benji Rayner was slow to take the kick. During this time Waterfoot's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Bryan Carey-Bertram got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dennis Preston quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
