They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and CJ Pollard made a kick off. 1-2 became the score in the 54th minute when Christopher Rice elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Joseph Elliot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, CJ Pollard took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Justin Blackley to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Joseph Elliot put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Justin Blackley. Benji Morgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Preston having to interfere. Dennis Preston was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Easingwold FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
