Rainhill's Marty Long played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfie Chappell in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfie Chappell in the 73rd minute of play forced Rainhill's goalkeeper Marty Long to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Alfie Chappell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wadebridge AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfie Chappell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marty Long breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Liam Broadbent got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 96th match minute, Rainhill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Syd Bellamy to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
